Privacy
AllMySaves is a personal archive. You save videos you have already chosen to keep, and we transcribe and index them so you can find them again. This page says exactly what that involves — what we hold, who can reach it, and how to make it stop.
What we store
- Your email address and a password hash. The password itself is never stored; what is kept is a scrypt hash, which cannot be turned back into your password.
- The videos you save, as your own copy, along with the link they came from.
- What we derive from them so they can be searched: a transcript of the audio, an English translation where the original is another language, a short summary, tags, and any text visible on screen.
- Your folders, and which clips are in them.
- Your searches, so we can tell whether the product works at all. This is the one number that matters to us and there is no honest way to get it without recording queries.
- When you last used the account, and how much you have stored and transcribed.
Who can see your vault
Nobody but you. Every clip belongs to exactly one account. Two people saving the same video get two separate copies, which is deliberate: sharing one copy between them would turn a private archive into a video host, which is exactly what this is not.
Media files are served only to their owner, after an ownership check, through short-lived signed links. They are never left somewhere a guessed filename would reach them.
When you share a clip, the link points at the original post on the platform it came from — never at your copy. There is no public library here, no feed of other people's saves, and nothing to browse but your own vault.
Deleting things
Delete a clip and its video, transcript, tags and thumbnail go with it, including the copy in object storage.
Delete your account — from the menu in the top right, under your email — and everything above goes: the account, every clip and file, folders, searches and transcription records. It is immediate and it cannot be undone. We keep an anonymous count of app downloads, with the account reference removed, because that number is about the business rather than about you.
Your rights
You can see everything we hold about you inside the app — it is your vault, and there is no hidden profile alongside it. You can correct your email, export by downloading your clips, and delete everything at once from the account menu. If you would rather ask, write to [email protected].
Children
AllMySaves is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
An archive, not a library
This matters enough to state plainly. Recording something to watch later is ordinary personal use, and the reason a service can do it on your behalf is that each person gets their own separate copy rather than sharing one. That is not a technicality. It is the difference between a personal archive and handing copies out, and it is why there is no public library here, no sharing between accounts, and no way into anybody's vault but your own.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we hold or who receives it, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the app.
