Terms
These terms are the agreement between you and AllMySaves. Creating an account means you accept them. They are written to be read rather than skimmed, so they are shorter than most.
What AllMySaves is
AllMySaves keeps your own private copy of videos you have already chosen to save, transcribes them, and makes them searchable by what was said. It is a personal archive. It is not a public library, not a video host, and not a way to publish anything to anyone else. Every clip belongs to exactly one account, and there is no route by which another person can reach your vault.
Your account
- Use a real email address you control. It is how you reset your password and how we reach you about the service.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; anything done with your password is treated as done by you.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into your account.
What you may save
Save what you are entitled to keep a copy of for your own use. You are responsible for what you put in your vault, and you confirm that saving it does not break the law or somebody else's rights.
You must not use AllMySaves to:
- build a copy of somebody else's catalogue, or archive material in bulk in order to redistribute it;
- store anything unlawful, or anything you have been told to stop distributing;
- get around the limits on your plan, whether by making extra accounts, deleting and re-saving to reset a quota, or otherwise;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or use automated tools against it beyond ordinary use of the app;
- resell access, or share your account so that several people use it as one.
Your clips stay yours
We claim no ownership of anything you save. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your copy, extract its audio, send that audio and a few frames to the providers listed in the privacy policy so it can be transcribed and described, and serve it back to you. Nothing more. We do not use your clips to train models, we do not show them to anyone else, and the permission ends when you delete them.
Copyright
If you believe something stored here infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the material and we will act on it. Accounts used repeatedly to infringe are closed.
Plans and limits
The free plan comes with a storage allowance and a daily transcription allowance, both shown on your account page. They exist because transcription and storage cost real money per minute and per gigabyte.
Billing is not live yet. Nothing charges automatically, and no payment details are taken. When paid plans arrive, the price and the terms of payment will be set out before you agree to anything, and using the free plan now does not commit you to paying later.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. It is immediate, it removes everything, and it cannot be undone.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — in practice, that means the abuse listed above rather than an honest mistake. Where it is reasonable to do so we will say what happened and give you a chance to put it right first. If we close your account for our own reasons rather than yours, we will give you notice and a chance to download your clips.
What we do not promise
AllMySaves is offered as it is. We work to keep it running and to keep your archive safe — the database is backed up regularly — but we cannot promise the service will always be available, that a platform will always allow a video to be fetched, or that a transcript will be perfect. Automatic transcription and AI-written summaries get things wrong, particularly with mixed languages and poor audio.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. This is an archive of things you found, not a substitute for a backup of things you made.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for data you have not kept a copy of elsewhere. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects what you may do or what we may do, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
